Downloading the Coinbase Wallet Extension

Visit the Coinbase Website

1. Open your web browser and go to the official Coinbase website.

Find the Wallet Extension

2. Locate the Coinbase Wallet Extension option on the site. This is usually found in the menu or the footer of the homepage.

Click on "Download"

3. Click on the Wallet Extension option to initiate the download process.

Choose Your Browser

4. Select your preferred browser from the available options, as Coinbase Wallet Extension is compatible with multiple browsers.

Install the Extension

5. Follow the installation prompts. Once installed, you will see the Coinbase Wallet icon in your browser’s toolbar.

Setting Up Your Coinbase Wallet

Create a New Wallet

1. If you're new to Coinbase Wallet, follow the on-screen prompts to create a new wallet. This includes setting a strong password and securing your recovery phrase. Store your recovery phrase in a safe place, as it is crucial for accessing your wallet if you forget your password.

Import an Existing Wallet

2. If you already have a Coinbase Wallet, you can import it by entering your recovery phrase or private key when prompted.
